Tarnów, first transport to Konzentrationslager Auschwitz on June 14, 1940 – photos

 

TARNÓW JUNE 14, 1940

The photos display a group of 728 Poles (some Jewish) that were transported from Tarnów prison to concentration camp Auschwitz. From that day on the camp went officially into operation.
